27th March 2015 - Brussels and Chocolate Museum
We arrived
to the center of Brussels
at two o’clock more or less. We had lunch in a good restaurant and we enjoyed
the first hours in the city.
In the Chocolate Museum we ate cookies with liquid chocolate and other types of chocolate such as 80% of cocoa and chocolate whit milk and butter, the ingredients to make chocolate nowadays.
Our guide was a nice woman who made a demonstration of how to make chocolate and we could try her delicious chocolates.
Next, she also told about the history of the museum and the origin of chocolate around the world. It was a fantastic experience that we would like to repeat because the museum is very nice.

Later, we went to another room. In this room the guide explained to us the history of the chocolate. We entered the museum’s kitchen, and the Spanish cook explained to us the procedure of making chocolates, and we ate them. It was delicious! In the last room, we watched a documentary about the chocolate in different countries.
When we
arrived, a guide called Diego showed us the town. It was beautiful! We visited
a convent which had a church inside and we also strolled the streets of the
city, it was a wonderful sunny day. Every single alley of Bruges was fantastic.
The city is so well preserved that our visit seemed a time travel. We really
enjoyed that day.
